So you want to be a TV/film actor. If so, you should be prepared to A) work in tight quarters with one or two distractions around you, and B) be called upon to occasionally do some weird and awkward shit.
That’s Clayne Crawford up there in the blue overalls, playing Chev, and Kelsey Ford, as Dot, sitting in the chair facing him. When the cameras rolled on this, Clayne was required to put a needle through a prosthetic nipple that had been applied to Kelsey’s breast, Fake blood was involved, and a great deal of theatrical screaming. They’re both pros, and were great in their rolls, so the whole thing came together very nicely. Which is quite the trick seeing as they needed to do it with a couple cameras jammed in their faces, a few hot lights, a boom mic hovering overhead, some folks pulling focus, and a crowd of at least a dozen others within twenty feet, all of them packed into a dinkey tattoo studio on a scorching hot day.
It ain’t layin’ bricks, but nor is that shit easy.
And that prosthetic nipple is oddly related to the single cockroach from the previous post. Both were essentially the result of budgetary considerations. The difference in cost between a prosthetic nipple and an entire breast in significant.
